When asked about the Jeremy Lin phenomenon in New York, New Jersey Nets star Deron Williams responded to the New York Daily News, “What phenomenon?”
“Why would we get excited about the Knicks? We're 8-21, I'm worried about us, not what Jeremy Lin's doing,” Williams told the paper. Lin’s sensation started two weeks ago after the 23-year-old scored 25 points against Williams in his first career start.
This season Williams has been averaging 20.9 points, 8.4 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game. Through his career he has earned 17.4 points, 9.2 assists, and 3.3 rebounds, per game. The Nets 8-21-0 will face the Memphis Grizzlies 15-14-0 tonight.
