The Cincinnati Reds have signed veteran pitcher Brett Tomko to a minor league deal, according to MLBTradeRumors.com. Tomko split time last season with the Texas Rangers and their Triple-A affiliate.

While with Texas, Tomko had a 4.58 ERA in 17 2/3 innings of work. Tomko, 36, came up with the Reds in 1997, but was shipped west to Seattle three years later when Cincinnati acquired Ken Griffey Jr.
