Stevie Johnson and the Buffalo Bills have exchanged proposals on a new contract, according to The Buffalo News.
The Bills reportedly offered Johnson a proposal earlier this month, however, according to the Buffalo News, Johnson’s agent supplied a counter offer today. It’s believed the two sides will meet next week in Indianapolis to further discuss a deal.
Johnson, 25, hauled in 76 passes for 1004 yards and seven touchdowns last season for the Bills. The year before, he had a breakout season with 82 receptions for 1073 yards and 10 touchdowns. The Bills originally drafted Johnson in 2008 in the seventh round on the NFL draft.
