President Barack Obama and former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin finally agree on something, they are both huge fans of Jeremy Lin. Earlier this week Obama said that he was excited with how Lin was playing in New York, and just yesterday TMZ posted a video of Palin holding up her new “Linsanity” shirt.
“I’m a huge fan (of Lin),” Palin said. “What an American story. It’s uplifting, it’s positive, it unifies our country…we’re big fans of Lin.
The video can be seen here. Lin, 23, has exploded on to the basketball scene over the past few weeks after coming out of relative obscurity to help the floundering New York Knicks claim seven straight victories. He has done so without the help of Carmelo Anthony. The undrafted Harvard graduate has averaged 24.4 points, 9.1 assists per game in those starts.
