Officials say that there is no deal in place for the Minnesota Vikings in their bid for a new stadium, though talks are ongoing, according to the Associated Press.

A spokeswoman for governor Mark Dayton -- who is involved in the discussion -- said Friday that "everyone continues to work hard on this," according to the AP.

Negotiations are expected to continue throughout the weekend. The location of the proposed stadium would be at or near the site of the current Metrodome.
