Jeremy Lin Not Sure Controversial Headline Was Intentional
Jeremy Lin said that he didn’t think the now controversial headline about him posted to ESPN’s mobile site on Friday night was intentional.
"Have to learn to forgive, and I don't even think that was intentional," he said, according to the Los Angeles Times. "Or hopefully not.” ESPN’s headline included the phrase, “chink in the armor,” after the Knicks lost their first game since promoting Jeremy Lin to be their starting point guard. ESPN pulled the headline and the overnight writer who produced the text was let go, according to multiple reports.
