Report: Derrick Rose Interested In Bulls Trading For Lakers' Pau Gasol

Trade rumors have swirled around Los Angeles Lakers big man Pau Gasol all year long, but this one is a new one: Derrick Rose is interested in Gasol coming to the Windy City to join the Chicago Bulls.

"He hasn’t said so publicly, but he has made that known privately," a source told Chris Sheridan of SheridanHoops.com.

Sheridan was following up on a rumor first reported by the Spanish news outlet Marca, which said earlier today that Rose had given the Bulls his blessing to package Carlos Boozer and another player in a deal for Gasol.

Gasol has been the subject of trade rumors ever since the early-December attempted blockbuster in which the Lakers tried to land Chris Paul and ship Gasol to Houston. He is still owed $38 million by the Lakers over the next two seasons.
