A Jeremy Lin signed rookie card auctioned off for $21,580 on eBay, according to Yahoo! Sports.

"I saw a lot of potential in him," Yair Rozmaryn, the eBay seller told ESPN on Wednesday.

The rookie card was sold  by Yair Rozmaryn, a card collector in Manhattan, who originally bought the card for $1,000 from another collector on eBay two weeks ago. At that time, Lin was had yet to become an international phenom. Jeremy Lin was passed up by two teams including the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets before being claimed by the New York Knicks off waivers.  In his last 11 games, Lin is averaging 23.9 points and 9.2 assists.
