Former NFL star Terrell Owens will make his Indoor Football League debut Saturday night, according to the team’s official website.

The Wranglers will play their first game of the season, at home, against the Witchita Wild. According to ProFootballTalk, the game will be televised on ESPN3.

Owens was signed by the Wranglers in a deal that gave him 50% ownership of the team, and he can make as much as $500,000 this season. Owens, who turned 38 in December, did not play in the NFL last season. He had 72 catches for 983 yards in 2010 for the Cincinnati Bengals, then underwent surgery for a torn ACL in April 2011. He was medically cleared to play in 2011 but remained unsigned.
