San Diego Chargers offensive lineman Kris Dielman is nearing a decision to retire, according to Kevin Acee of UT San Diego.

Dielman, 31, initially intended to be back in 2012, but recent medical woes have pushed him in the other direction. Sources told Acee that the All-Pro left guard will make an announcement "soon" and is "leaning toward" retirement.

Dielman finished the 2011 season on injured reserve. He suffered a concussion and a seizure in October. Further complicating the Chargers' offensive line situation, center Nick Hardwick and left tackle Jared Gaither are entering free agency this spring. The Chargers hope to retain both players.
