Report: Braves' Freddie Freeman Out With Injured Knee

Atlanta Braves first baseman, Freddie Freeman is expected to sit out at least two weeks after injuring his right knee this morning, according to Mark Bowman of MLB.com.

Freeman’s right knee popped out of place as he reached to pick a low throw at first base, Bowman reports.

“I was just doing pick drills and the knee gave out,” Freeman said in an interview with MLB.com. “The kneecap went this way and I came back in. When I did this when I was playing in Triple-A, it took me two weeks.  So that is what we are going on.”

According to Bowman, Freeman does not seem to be concerned about the injury and knows that he will be back on the field  in no time.
