Report: Suspended Broncos Ryan McBean, D.J. Williams Expected To File Lawsuits

Two Denver Broncos players who were suspended by the NFL for testing positive for banned substances will file lawsuits in state court, according to the New York Times.

The report states that both D.J. Williams and Ryan McBean may file in a Colorado court as soon as Monday.

Both players contend that their samples were mishandled, and they say they did not test positive but that their samples were a nonhuman specimen.

“To me, there are so many things that they have done wrong that they have trampled on my client’s rights, so we’re going to do everything possible to make sure he is vindicated,” Peter Schaffer, who represents McBean, told the paper.
