The Minnesota Vikings have released three established starters and, in doing so, have cleared $13 million in payroll, according to the Associated Press.

The Vikings released left guard Steve Hutchinson, right guard Anthony Herrera, and cornerback Cedric Griffin on Saturday. All three players had been mainstays in the Viking starting lineup for the last several seasons. The Vikings are looking to get younger after a rocky couple of seasons, the report states.
