Barack Obama: Broncos 'Would Be Lucky' To Land Peyton Manning

How big is the story of Peyton Manning's free agency and his potential signing with the Denver Broncos? So big that even the president of the United States has an opinion on the matter.

“Peyton Manning is one of the best of all time, and anybody would be lucky to have him," President Barack Obama said today in an interview on CBS. "I know the Broncos are going after him pretty hard.”

While Obama stopped short of actually offering a prediction on Manning's future, he did have a few kind words for Denver, the city where he delivered his nominee's acceptance speech at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

“We’ll see," Obama said. "If natural beauty has anything to do with it, then I’m sure Denver will do pretty well.”
