Either the bad blood between New York Jets teammates Santonio Holmes and Mark Sanchez has all dried up, or Holmes is at least really good at faking it publicly. In any event, Holmes took to Twitter today to congratulate his quarterback on his new contract extension:

Holmes' tweet was notable, of course, because the two Jets made headlines last season for bashing each other publicly in the media. The rift between the two was at its worst toward the end of the season, as the Jets finished out a disappointing 8-8 campaign and missed the postseason for the first time in Sanchez's career. Nevertheless, GM Mike Tannenbaum and the Jets plan to keep the two players around for next season. Sanchez and the team announced a new three-year, $40 million contract extension on Friday night.
