Report: Carmelo Anthony Unhappy With Mike D'Antoni

A source has told the New York Post that Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony is unhappy with head coach Mike D’Antoni

The Post reports that is unlikely that both D’Antoni and Anthony will be back with the team next year, but that it is far more likely that the fourth year head coach would be fired than Anthony be traded. D’Antoni was hired by the Knicks in 2008, but has only led the team to a winning season once.

In February, during an eight game stretch in which Anthony was injured, the Knicks were the hottest team in basketball, winning seven of those contests. Since Anthony’s return to the lineup, the club has lost eight of their past 10.
