The University of South Carolina will fire head coach Darrin Horn, according to CBS Sports.
The team is expected to make an official announcement today at 1:30 p.m.
Horn had served as the head coach for the Gamecocks since the 2008-09 season. In total he has led the squad to a 60-63 record, including a 23-41 mark in the Southeastern Conference. His best season with South Carolina came in 2008-09 when he led them to a 21-10 record, where they were ultimately eliminated in the first round of the NIT. Prior to signing with South Carolina, Horn served as the head coach for Western Kentucky. There he led the Hilltoppers to a 111-48 record in five seasons.
