Report: Grizzlies' Rudy Gay Has Mild Concussion

Memphis Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay has a mild concussion and could miss tomorrow night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, reports Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal.

Gay left yesterday's win over the Denver Nuggets with concussion-like symptoms after taking an elbow to the head from Nene Hilario. He was reevaluated today, and team doctors confirmed the concussion.

As per the NBA’s new protocol for head injuries, Gay will have to pass a rigorous series of physical tests to confirm his health before returing to the floor.
