The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed guard Carl Nicks to a five-year $47.5 million deal, according to a tweet from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Nicks previously spent four years with the New Orleans Saints where he won a Super Bowl championship and was named a two-time All-Pro and Pro Bowl player. Additionally he won the Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award in 2010. During his career with the Saints he played in 60 games starting 57 of them.
