Report: ESPN Mistakenly Alludes To Non-Existent Dwight Howard Trade

ESPN mistakenly reported that Orlando Magics’ Dwight Howard was going to be traded, according to Yahoo’s The Post Game.

With the Magic leading the Heat by three in the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s matchup in Orlando, ESPN Mobile’s “The Lead” section informed fans: “Magic fighting back from double-digit deficit in Dwight Howard’s home finale.”

Despite the speculation of Howard possibly being traded before Thursday’s deadline, there has not been a definitive move by the front office to move the star center.  After the overtime win against Miami Tuesday night, Howard told reporters that he has told team officials he hopes to stay in Orlando through the end of the season.
