The Dallas Cowboys have signed cornerback Brandon Carr to a five-year, $50.1 million deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Carr, 25, had previously spent the first four years of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. The club originally drafted him out of Grand Valley State, where he instantly became a starter for the squad. Last season, Carr tallied 45 tackles while hauling in a career- high four interceptions. In four seasons he has totaled 237 tackles and eight interceptions.
