After an earlier report stated that Orlando Magic forward Dwight Howard wanted to stay with the Magic through the end of the season, Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Howard plans to stay with the team through the 2012-13 season as well. It was reported earlier today that the team will trade Howard if he did not commit to the team for next season.

Wojnarowski also reports that the team is just waiting for Howard to sign the papers and that some believe Howard is already second-guessing his decision to stay with the team. Furthermore, Wojnarowski reports that the Magic are still talking to teams about trades leading up to Thursday’s 3 p.m. trading deadline. Howard is averaging 21.2 points and 15.2 rebounds per game this season for the Magic, who are currently third in the Eastern Conferenee with a record of 28-15.
