The Los Angeles Lakers are close to acquiring forward Michael Beasley as part of a three-team trade that would send Jamal Crawford to the Minnesota Timberwolves and Steve Blake to the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

[tweet https://twitter.com/FisolaNYDN/status/180099525875204096 align='center'] Beasley, 23, is averaging 11.8 points and 4.6 rebounds per game this year for Minnesota – his worst statistical year since being drafted second overall in 2008 by Miami. Crawford, 31, is averaging 14.2 points and 3.7 assists per game for Portland. Blake, 32, is averaging 5.8 points and 3.6 assists per game off the bench for the Lakers this season.
