The Trail Blazers acquired Thabeet and Flynn from Houston for Marcus Camby and Okur, Williams and a first-round pick from New Jersey for Gerald Wallace. The team also fired head coach Nate McMillan. Oden, 24, has been plagued by knee injuries in his career after being drafted first overall in the 2007 NBA Draft. He has not played since 2010 and has only played in 82 career games, averaging 9.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
