Originally, Peyton Manning's goal was to have a final decision made about his future by the end of this week, but the week has come and gone, and still nothing. Now, apparently, Manning has a new goal in mind. From Bert Breer of the NFL Network:

Manning has narrowed his list of possible landing spots down to Denver, Tennessee and San Francisco, and it sounds as though a final choice among the three should be coming soon. Although Breer did add in a later tweet that "People involved aren't convinced he'll stick to that, partially because the process has been lengthy already." In any event, all three teams have cleared out the requisite salary cap space to offer Manning the $90 million contract he desires. Soon enough, we should see one of the three finalists shell out the cash for the future Hall of Famer.
