Former Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn is strongly considering signing with the Seattle Seahawks, but that's far from final. According to Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin, Flynn will visit with the Miami Dolphins before making a decision.

Flynn has emerged as the most attractive quarterback on the free agent market this offseason (non-Peyton Manning division) despite making just two career starts. The former LSU Tiger hardly played as the backup behind Aaron Rodgers, but he had a dazzling Week 17 performance this year against the Detroit Lions, throwing for 480 yards and six touchdowns. Both the Dolphins and Seahawks have been eliminated from contention for Manning, according to reports. Flynn is the next-best thing. He'd fit especially well in Miami, where former Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin was recently hired as head coach.
