Patriots Sign Former Colts Receiver Anthony Gonzalez

The New England Patriots have signed wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez, the team announced today:

Gonzalez, 27, had spent the previous five seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, who drafted him at the end of the first round in 2007. He had his best season in 2008, catching 57 passes for 664 yards and four touchdowns.
