Report: Eagles Sign Guard Evan Mathis To Five-Year Contract

Evan Mathis is sticking around in Philadelphia -- the veteran guard agreed to a five-year contract with the Eagles today, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter:

The 30-year-old Mathis was seriously considering an offer from the Baltimore Ravens before ultimately deciding to stay with the Eagles, who had originally signed him to a one-year deal at the conclusion of the lockout last summer. Mathis will now stay in the City of Brotherly Love through 2016.
