Houston Rockets guard Derek Fisher has reached a buyout agreement with the team, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Fisher, 37, will become a free agent once he clears waivers.

After starting the season with the Los Angeles Lakers, Fisher was traded to the Rockets Thursday for forward Jordan Hill. In 25.5 minutes a game for the Lakers Fisher averaged 5.9 points per game.
