Former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas has officially signed a one-year, league minimum deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to David Aldrirdge.

Arenas, 30, has been a free agent since the Orlando Magic waived him via the amnesty clause prior to this season. He was ineffective in 70 games last year split between Orlando and Washington, averaging career lows of 10.8 points and 2.7 assists per contest. Prior to suffering multiple knee injuries, Arenas was one of the brightest young players in the league. In 2002-03 he was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player, and from 2005-07 he was selected to the Eastern Conference All-Star team.
