The Jets are believed to be one of the teams interested in a trade for Tebow.  However, according to Cromartie, the Jets do not need him on the team tweeting Tuesday, “We sell out every home game let him go to Jacksonville Tampa or Miami.  Our wildcat offense can b ran by J. Kerley or Joe McKnight we straight.”

Even though the Jets recently signed quarterback Mark Sanchez to a three-year extension, team owner Woody Johnson, and GM Mike Tannenbaum have built a reputation of taking chances on acquiring polarizing players in the past such as Brett Favre and Plaxico Burress.
