Update - 1:02 pm: Former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams has been suspended indefinitely according to ESPN:

Original - 12:56 p.m.: ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has been suspended one year, and general manager Mickey Loomis has been suspended eight games for the recent bounty system housed under former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams.

The Saints have been accused of administering a “bounty program” under former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams. The program was designed to reward defensive players with cash for injuring various players on the opposing team’s offense. Williams, now with the St. Louis Rams, has also been cooperating with the NFL in their investigation.
