Green Bay Packers Sign Jeff Saturday

The Green Bay Packers have signed offensive lineman Jeff Saturday, according to ESPN. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.

Saturday had played a major role with the Indianapolis Colts since 1999, serving as the center for Peyton Manning. Today he became one of the many longtime Indianapolis stars to sign with another team this offseason, after Colts owner Jim Irsay made the move to make a top-to-bottom overhaul of the team following a 2-14 season.

The 36-year-old is expected to replace former Packers center Scott Wells. Wells recently signed with the St. Louis Rams.
