Vladimir Guerrero may be 37, but he's not done just yet. Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports that Vlad has worked out for Cleveland Indians at their academy in the Dominican Republic.

"Guerrero was here today at the Indians' academy in Bocachica," one source told Rojas. "There seems to be a genuine interest by the Indians to see if he can help the team."

Guerrero spent the 2011 season with the Baltimore Orioles, working exclusively as the team's DH. He batted .290 with 13 home runs at 65 RBIs. The Orioles have not expressed any interest in having Vlad back; the nine-time All-Star was rumored last week to be considering Japan if he couldn't land a job in the major leagues. Guerrero has played 16 seasons in the major leagues, split among the Montreal Expos, Los Angeles Angels, Texas Rangers and the Orioles last year. He has a .318 career batting average with 449 homers and 1,496 RBIs.
