The New York Yankees have signed slugger Jack Cust to a minor league deal, according to WFAN.


Last season Cust hit three home runs and drove in 23 runs in 67 games for Seattle. His best season came in 2008 when he led the American League in walks and strikeouts while slugging 33 home runs in just 481 at bats. Over the course of his career he has hit .242/.374/.439 with 105 home runs and 323 RBI.
