Fan Who Mocked Fabrice Muamba On Twitter Loses Appeal
21-year-old Liam Stacey lost his appeal of a 56-day jail term for tweeting racial remarks about Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba, according to The Guardian. Stacey was convicted of racially aggravated public disorder.
"He was intending to say what he said and was intending to produce the effect that he did,” the judge said.
