Jeremy Lin To Miss Third Straight Game

New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin will miss his third straight game with a sore left knee, according to ESPN New York. Baron Davis is expected to start in his place.

Lin suffered the injury in last Saturday’s win against the Detroit Pistons, according to ESPN, and said last week he’d been experiencing pain in his knee because of overuse. The second-year guard saw his playing time skyrocket in February and March, when he averaged over 30 minutes per game in both months.

Knicks head coach Mike Woodson gave an update on Lin's condition, saying that he's still day-to-day but that he has "no idea" when he'll return.

“He’s out,’’ Woodson told the New York Post. “Still day to day. Amare’s out. Had his epidural shot yesterday. He’s day to day with Lin. I have no idea when these guys are going to return, if they’re going to return. I just don’t know.’’
