Judge Rules Against Reebok On Tim Tebow Jerseys

A U.S. District Court judge has placed a temporary restraining order to keep Reebok from selling Tim Tebow New York Jets jerseys, according to CNN.

Nike had filed a lawsuit against Reebok over the sale of the Tebow jerseys. Reebok had been previously authorized to sell NFL jersey’s, however their license to place player names on jerseys expired last week, prior to the trade that sent Tim Tebow to the New York Jets.

Nike reportedly lost its effort to have the judge order the destruction of the Tebow jersey’s, according to CNN.

The court ordered Reebok to contact retailers and urge them to take the items off shelves.
