Phoenix Suns guard Grant Hill has undergone successful surgery on his knee to repair a torn meniscus, according to the Associated Press.

The team announced Friday that Hill is expected to return before the end of the season. In the meantime, Shannon Brown will start in Hill's place. Hill, 39, is the second-oldest player in the NBA. He is averaging 10.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.
