The Indianapolis Colts will travel to California today to put Stanford star quarterback Andrew Luck through a private workout, according to the Indianapolis Star.
The workout will be held at Stanford, Luck’s alma matter. The Colts also had the opportunity to watch Luck work out March 22 at his pro day in Palo Alto.
“We’ll get all the information and make a great decision,” Colts quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen told the paper.
The Colts have the No. 1 overall pick in this month’s NFL Draft and are expected to select either Luck or Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III. While several months ago Luck was considered all but a lock, Griffin’s stock has risen dramatically after an outstanding pro day of his own, and several impressive interviews.
