Report: Lakers' Kobe Bryant Injures Shin, Will Miss First Game This Season

Kobe Bryant has been the L.A. Lakers' iron man this season, but according to Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register, Bryant will be missing in action tonight for the first time this season.

Bryant has been remarkably durable for the Lakers over the last five seasons -- he started all 82 games last year, as well as in 2007-08 and '08-09. He's played despite a number of injuries, including a torn ligament in his wrist at the start of this season and a broken nose he suffered in February's All-Star Game.
