Baylor forward Perry Jones III has declared for the NBA Draft, according to ESPN.
Jones made the announcement Monday in a statement issued by the school.
After being projected as a top pick last year, Jones chose to return for his sophomore season. However, he did face a five-game suspension at the start of the season after the NCAA determined he accepted improper benefits before coming to Baylor. Jones averaged 13.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, helping to lead the Bears to a 30-8 record. Baylor’s season ended with a loss in the quarterfinals of the 2012 NCAA Tournament to the Kentucky Wildcats, who went on to be crowned this year's champions.
