Grizzlies PF Zach Randolph Misses Shootaround, Involved In Car Accident
Memphis Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph did not attend the team’s shootaround today after being involved in a car accident on Monday morning, according to Commercial Appeal.
According to a source with knowledge of the accident, a vehicle rear-ended Randolph on the freeway in Memphis. Although Randolph did not leave the scene in an ambulance, it is not known whether he suffered any injuries.
In mid-March, Randolph returned to the Grizzlies after missing nearly three months with a right knee injury. This season, the power forward is averaging 12.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
