Twins P Kyle Waldrop Plays Catch For First Time Since Injury

Minnesota Twins right-handed relief pitcher Kyle Waldrop played catch for the first time since being placed on the 15-day disabled list March 26, according to MLB.com. Waldrop threw from 60 feet, which he hopes to increase to 90 feet later in the week.

According to the report, Waldrop was expected to make the big league team following spring training. In six appearances in the Grapefruit League, the 26-year-old posted a 1.50 ERA before feeling discomfort in his elbow.
