Report: New Orleans Hornets To Be Sold To Saints Owner Tom Benson

The New Orleans Hornets are to be sold to New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson for $338 million, according to David Aldridge of NBA.com.

Former Hornets owner George Shinn was forced to sell the franchise to the NBA due to financial troubles in December of 2010. The Hornets are the league’s first league-owned team.
