The Washington Redskins and linebacker London Fletcher are nearing a deal that will make him a Redskin prior to Monday, which is the beginning of Washington's offseason program, according to NFL.com.

Fletcher is not yet signed, but both sides are pushing to get the deal done this weekend.

The 36-year-old linebacker recorded 166 tackles a year ago, a career-high for the three-time Pro Bowler.

Update: Fletcher has tweeted that he will be back with the Redskins next season. https://twitter.com/#!/LFletcher59/status/190922180631085056
