Report: Red Sox OF Jacoby Ellsbury Sent To DL

Boston Red Sox outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury has been placed on the 15-day DL with a possible separated shoulder, according to online reports.

Ellsbury left Friday's game after Rays infielder Reid Brignac landed on him making a throw to first base in the fourth inning.

On Saturday, Ellsbury confirmed the injury on Twitter.
