New York Yankees starting pitcher Andy Pettitte will start Sunday in the minors and will be on a 45-50 pitch limit, manager Joe Girardi said according to ESPNNewYork.com.

The report states that Pettitte will likely make the start for Class-A Tampa, where he started Monday and threw 32 pitches in three innings. Pettitte is recovering from a left groin injury.
