The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed veteran quarterback Charlie Batch to a one-year deal , according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Batch, who will continue to back up quarterback Ben Roethlisburger, has been with the Steelers since 2002.  He has started seven games for the Steelers, including one last season against the St. Louis Rams in which Batch threw for 208 yards, leading Pittsburgh to a 27-0 victory. The Steelers are 5-2 in games Batch has started with them.  In his career, Batch, who played four years with the Lions, has compiled 10, 610 yards and 60 touchdowns.
