Boston Celtics head coach Doc Rivers said today that shooting guard Ray Allen will play today with no restrictions, according to Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald.

Allen has been out with a sore right ankle and has not played since April 10. The Celtics are 3-1 in his absence, and are slotted to play the New York Knicks tonight at Madison Square Garden. The 36-year-old has missed 15 games this season as a result of various injuries. He is averaging 14.2 points and 2.4 assists per game this year, his lowest output since his rookie campaign in 1996-97 with the Milwaukee Bucks.
